Into the Sky

Skyline; perfect to stay
Seaside; must stay away
The fountain; unsafe
The towers; falling

It was creeping me out
It was a building in the sky

But we stopped the music in the car
We went back because it was too far
I said it was fine but they couldn't understand
Because I think we're in Japan

It had big arms and hands
It was a giant earthquake

Kind enough for me to go
But it continued behind
All I could do was speed
Until it couldn't find

The skyline was still safe
The seaside had better days
The fountain is the samе
And the towers are gonе

And so am I

I woke up and couldn't tell where I was
I tried to look for directions but nobody was there
I thought I was still where I started
Turns out I went into the sky
