First Breathing In

First breathing in
1. I moved to my stepping stone
On a way to a new day,
The life I'm so thirsty to follow.
I am opening out my wings on the fly
From here on I know surely
Why I keep my feet on this earthly round.
It was my first breathing in -
Back to the centuries,
Back to the centuries…
And I'm setting off
Without goodbye, do you hear, my friend?
Cause we might come across again.
2. When I started my first fight
I came right out with it,
To be and remain who am I
And it was that very blink
When once and for all you had to decide
Would you stay here or flee.
It was my first breathing in -
Back to the centuries,
Back to the centuries…
And I'm setting off
Without goodbye, do you hear, my friend?
Cause we might come across again.
