They left the trail where the twisting vines divide earth's surface into facets of space-time
Faint glows trace the star fields into violets
Titus groans as a dying sun dissolves into impermanence
Fading strains of disconsolate design
Humans scarred into patterns abound, she merges with a pyre of sound
Where nothing exists, where nothing breaks the silence
Therein lies the haunted one
Hid in the shadows of base desires
Therein lies the haunter
From there I walked on, void of direction or memory, the voice of the conjurer I had become faltering aimlessly
Crepuscule evening songs of childhood
Gaia holds the dying sun and lifts it from the firmament
Divested of the flames that gave it life
Newly reborn the pattern resolves and the star fields drift and the sunlight dissolves
Into ashes ground from the passages of cypher
Therein lies the haunted one
