With a sweat on the back
from a broke zodiac.
Stumbling into the layer
but can’t find no one there.
Hearing angels
kept in cages.
Gonna save ‘em.

Skipping dangers.
Being strangers.
Getting mixed up in the pot
among the vapors.
And it’s been calling to you
with a quiet demand
and a smoldering brand.
And once given it’s due
doing things that are true.
Hard to misunderstand
when it’s giving a hand.
