In these times before the waves of healing
Our conscious lies meet futures in decline
Our shoals defined by lack of growing
We face behind with nothing on the line
That choice reflecting us
Unknown but fading up
As water warms defiling purpose
Suspend the time like nothing's on the line
Our cities cry and lay bleaching
The tears align, an etching of the cost
And I don't like the change of us
Are we afraid to love?
