They say that part of growing up is
Getting a job
Well, i don't wanna grow up
They say part of being young is
Going to school
Well, i'd rather grow up

They used to say i was a good kid
Now i'm a good kid
Did that by staying in school
But now they say that i'm a dumb man
'cause i'm a good kid
Don't you understand?

They say part of being grown is
Having your way
I guess i'll be a grown up today
They also say that the me in me
Wants staying young
I don't wanna grow up

They say that young ones got it easy
You try to please me,
And you can get your way
Well i won't, please don't find it creepy
