We're heading for a reckoning, we're into the unknown
Unfamiliar territory, should I stay? Or should I go

Risk contamination by a Killer with no vaccine

Pulling down the shutters on the pubs and clubs and cafes
Closing down the restaurants, the cinemas and everyone's
Stocking up on bog rolls, bulk buying rice and pasta
Hiding in our houses just to weather this disaster
As we spiral into lockdown, into splendid isolation
Ripping out the beating heart of this divided nation

And it's plain to see
The cracks that appear at the first sign of fear
