Bricks/Walls

This land's all new to us
But we don't know yet
The more we plant it the less it keeps its shape
We spend all night listening to the music that we like
And from a distance you can hear us singing along
I'll never be tired of this song
It keeps going on in my head
We settle down to pave and to lay bricks and then we're walled in
Now it feels like something's going wrong
Neither bricks nor walls ever made a difference to me
But they're so easy to handle without care
I wish we were safe without those walls around
In our heads it's all clear out of town
