Restriction in black pressed against my forehead
A thousand tiny plates drifting out to sea
Carry all my thoughts away, empty me
Taunt the growing circle, plunge the knife

The view from this vantage grew quite dark
As the plastic filled my brain, as my thoughts shut off
Draw me out to scatter my pieces
Carelessly dropping everything over
The edge of my world where the walls slid in
The light withdrew, i’m left stranded here
