Come with me to avalon
We’ll walk and then we’ll run
And then we’ll reach the border by the setting of the sun
The scouts are on the hilltop and they wait for us to come

The memory’s a footprint which is filling up with sand

And the movement of dark figures as they dance the rite of spring
They could teach you all about it but you wouldn’t learn a thing

So they stick you and they prick just to keep the vision gone
And they try to eat your memories like saturn with son

We could share the things we found but couldn’t share the gun
