Re Run

Blue sky sun beating down
As I keep walking round and round
Up...down so many rocks abound
Keep on shuffling eyes to the ground
Progress hard to track somehow
Holding myself up hard right now
Oh how silence reverbs as loud
When ur descending from the clouds

Feels like I'm stuck in a re run
Can't wait for this to be done
I hurry up just to slow down
And my only goal right now is I gotta get down X2

When I first got to this place
Full of hope not out of grace
I believed I could take these miles on
And that my walk would really stay strong.
Through these strides I can not hide
I have to keep my hope alive
Eyes wide, fear aside,
Imagination be my guide

Feels like I'm stuck in a re run
Can't wait for this to be done
