Where I Should Be

You know i lost myself in there
Between the passing of everyday
And that some one that i became
Was so fraudulent, and so fake

I took a glance into the mirror and saw the boy i used to know
All his dreams and all his passions all his joys and all his goals

I found my way back to the surface
And got myself back on solid ground
For all the steps upon the ladder were merely stones that
Weighed me down

So here i am now gravitating back to the place i came from
Rekindled dreams rekindled passions feeling as if life s begun

Out of darkness into light from blindness to full of sight
It took me so long just to see that this is where i should be
Here i stand still so amazed that i survived my darkest days
But i am back upon life s journey convinced
