Seed of the Righteous

I was born of the Spirit
Like the Scriptures said
And redeemed by the blood of the Lamb
I became a child of a living God
When I reached for the Master's hand
But there was mercy for me
And I was free indeed
As my burdens started rolling away
And in a moment of time
I crossed over the line
And learned what it means to say

I am the seed of the righteous
And a joint heir of Jesus
I have a Father in Heaven
So, I'll never be out bеggin'
