Concrete Jungle
Whatever happened to my fields of green
Now all I get are pictures in a magazine
Oh wait now I forgot that those are gone too
Next thing you know our oxygen won't renew
We're sitting in an empty room in our concrete (jungle)
We're breathing in all the smoke in our concrete (jungle)
Where did our freedom go to do anything
Now all we are is glued to plastic in our hand
How did we turn into a heedless society
Why must we ignore all of those in poverty
We're sitting in an empty room in our concrete (jungle)
We're breathing in all the smoke in our concrete (jungle)
We're dumbing down ourselves in our concrete (jungle)
We are chained to our government in our concrete (jungle)
Hey, come and join us anyway
And we'll die, die as one
There is no point to going on
We're almost done, almost done
We'll have at least a few more years at best
If we survive longer than that, it'll be a test
I'll be surprised if we can last that long
A few more days and then all will be calm
We're sitting in an empty room in our concrete (jungle)
We're breathing in all the smoke in our concrete (jungle)
We're dumbing down ourselves in our concrete (jungle)
We are chained to our government in our concrete (jungle)
Hey, come and join us anyway
And we'll die, die as one
There is no point to going on
We're almost done, almost done
Hey, come and join us anyway
And we'll die, die as one
There is no point to going on
We're almost done, almost done
