Too young to understand why daddy said goodbye
The Christmas time is almost here and daddy won't be home this year
The little boy looked up at mommy and he cried
All I want for Christmas is my daddy to help me decorate the Christmas tree
Tell ol' Santa Claus forget about those presents
But don't forget to bring my daddy Christmas Eve
Mommy said if I'd be good and say my prayers the way I should
Maybe God would help bring daddy back to us
