Hello Blue Morning

Cale Hawkins

Hello blue morning, I see you're up early
You seem more familiar today
I live on this island, my body of silence
I don't have a means of escape

The sun burns my eyes, so I stay inside
Forget how to smile, and forget about time
But your heaviness dims this unbearable light, won't you stay
Hello blue morning, you're only a moment away

The ghost of her brother, who played in dull moonlight
Draped in his feathers of clay
Neglected and hated, his halo was fade
His wings slowly melted away
And so, he discovered the taste of his freedom
Was bitter and violent, and often deceiving
And rainfall is just the metropolis weeping its sorrows
He flees the blue morning, but he'll be returning tomorrow
