Poat Room

Caroliner, Caroliner Rainbow Scrambled Egg Taken for a Wife

A walkway of still crocodile body braids
Leading to noone in silence
Stiff travelers who found
Enough room to realize
With eyes held tightly closed
A sleep that allowed self-poat
Their spirits still one teetering
A straw fortress castle sitting serene
On thick straw animal neck and body
Nailed to the floor in Liberty
Another a lowly farm ornament corpse
With the heads of the various
Chattering animals who in their wiles
Repay in gratitude with encouragement & smiles
Each marked on elaborate frames
With a description of behavior and names
And their eyes lit by lights
Illuminating the poating corpse bright
And the knife that took their blood
Held high in hair thin fingers
The blade rusting gleaming
The arm teetering and corpse dreaming
Sits chairs bizzare and uncomfortable
But this slanted chair suits me
For in poat parting this is my dream
To sit upright with eyes open
Slanted sideways in a twisted (still) sleep
