Knock on Wood
Did i leave the house without my keys?
Forget to pay the electricity?
Now i’m running late to work but if i’m running any faster, i might trip
They’ve got fast cars on this road
Did i turn off the stove? did i keep the windows closed?
Did i tell them that i loved them when we last were on the phone?
Cause’ you never know
I know, i know, i’ve checked it twice
I apologize
But i’ve got worries like a tap flooding through my mind
These worries run my life
They keep me occupied
And when i knock on wood i worry that i’ll catch some kind of plague
I’m going crazy
You don’t have to save me
(I’ll take a U-turn soon)
