almost biblical scenes unfold somewhere there deep in our mind
smell of the asphalt after the rain we disentangle the line
what if we just let all the dead wood burn down
could we open our smoke filled eyes just a little more deep and wide
heaven spread all around us love
maybe too close to see
and the stuff of us that's most real
is eternal and free
to be blessed is always to be cursed as well dark matter holds it all in place
so when we grind against it let's keep our angels true
our bodies bend the empty space
