Better Days (semi-acoustic mix ft: Thalia Mai)
My town, so lonely at night, at 3am.
A thousand years crossed steadily and now a bridge that we condemn.
And time is like a riverboat in the wideness from within.
Just like a murky river that washed those sands from our old town.
As we stand at this bridge before us that once was green but now has seen better days.
Better days.
Better days.
As we stand at the foot of that old Roman hill there is nothing to see but better days.
In time we’ll bring it back, in time we’ll start to win.
And we’ll climb that hill for a drink or two and look out where we’ll swim.
Just like a murky river that washed those sands from our old town.
As we stand at this bridge before us that once was green but now has seen better days.
Just like a murky river that washed those sands from our old town.
As we stand at this bridge before us that once was green but now has seen better days.
Better days.
Better days.
As we stand at the foot of that old Roman hill there is nothing to see but better days.
