Speed Of Light
I gaze patiently, into a sea of stars
Drawing back from childhood fantasies
Of living life on Mars
From the corner of my eye, I saw a string of Light
I turned to see what wasn’t there anymore
I felt Your presence in the night
Until we see your shadow casting on us once again
The light reaches the rim, of a dying earth
From a star burned out so long ago
Or from a child at birth
From the corner of my eye
The Word is clothed in flesh
In a world of relativity, life is born from death
How can I travel / The speed of light
Is it possible to go to heaven or hell
I might never know or live to tell
The thing I want to know
Dead – where do I go
A quantum leap out through the galaxies
Till I’ve reached my home
When will I travel / The speed of Light
