He trudges on the road
The path he walks alone
Guardian of this empty place
The heart of a warrior

Dragging his heavy feet
Every step he drags through sand
Alone and cloaked in desolation
Until the time he perishes

Reminiscence, visions of the dead
Complete annihilation
I am life in this wasteland

He's troubled, the memories he can't evade
Through the blood stained ground, all dead
Counting the bodies he, can't believe his faith

To the darkness in the sky he looked
The empty void of space
But his hope lives on
Through the blackness now
The stars will shine again

It seems as they were calling, he can still hear their cries
The silence it is deafening, his brothers, no more at his side

Will he find the will against all odds, against the tide?
Through aeons passing, through the stars, this hope of his cannot die
