Hiatus

Charles Reyes II

Three long years, I'm finally out of the hiatus
I documented that time, the pages are veracious
Some of the strain taken off, my shoulders virtually weightless
Unlocking the vaults, releasing what awaits us
It's time to start the show, I'm feeling a little bit courageous
I'm doing this for myself I wanna see where I can take this
When the words start to flow, there's no way to contain this
I'm ready to go, I'm done with the hiatus
Never put down the pen and a hundred beats in the catalog
Ready at my disposal with project outlines already drawn
I expanded my horizons into lofi and ambience
Keeping it nonchalant, slightly unorthodox
Then traveled back in Silence with a boom bap persona
Calling out the spineless for issues that I know of
Even made my alternative dive into the genre
That I've recently become fond of to give emotion to my problems
I completed an ep to bring to light my inner workings
So I could be relieved of the source to the intense burning
Along with The Therapeutic Sessions that will forever be hidden
With additions made when needed for only me to listen
I've got a full length project that I've planned since the start
That tells my perspective of things I go through when it gets dark
Keep the Night Going, I want it to be perfect
And Internal ready to be released and I hope that it's worth it
Three long years, I'm finally out of the hiatus
I documented that time, the pages are veracious
Some of the strain taken off, my shoulders virtually weightless
Unlocking the vaults, releasing what awaits us
It's time to start the show, I'm feeling a little bit courageous
I'm doing this for myself I wanna see where I can take this
When the words start to flow, there's no way to contain this
I'm ready to go, I'm done with the hiatus
