I had a dream where i was pinned up
In an exhibition case with a bedside view
Assigned a latin name: riodininae
Found: moss landing
Year: 2019

My form was sketched out on the page of a moleskine
With meticulous bilateral symmetry
Assembled into a diy pamphlet
Entitled volume 1: angels of earth

Later purchased in a spring garage sale
By an entomologist with a two-dollar bill
Transported up north to the bohart
A fitting resting place among friends and kin

Perhaps a simple life but it was mine
With the security of being seen
I wonder if it means anything
That i'm more inclined to sleep tight recently
