Reaching out for what used to be phantom limbs reaching back for me
Can't break free from the void you make, smoke still drifts past charred remains
Who stills sees a body in need, forgive and forget, we forget to relate
Who would need a body so weak, poacher’s discard the excess weight
Clawing their way through the murk and mire, rats are still rats, birth, plague, conspire
Life for a life with the drowning of kin, take from the land in a frenzy of sin
There's no light, there's no pain
