The sounds outside are just murmurs
Bright lights and shapes define your days
No different better or worse just yet and then
Now this is just a preface, a setting of the stage
It's a strike of luck that comes to you
The moment you become enchanted
Now those dusty roses get a break
For they deserve just a little more respect
Breathing in
Breaking down, their surroundings bare
It's no surprise this travels far
Sometimes across through time unbound
But waves come and go beyond
Catching them is hard for some
Collecting dust on fragments lost
The waves outside have changed their path
Their role, their fate, inflicting light
When shadows creep down corridors
The light burns out and it overflows
