The past few years have felt more like a decade
Trying to steer and navigate through choppy waters
With no land in sight

Fatigue has hit my body
Like when a ship without a lighthouse
Hits the rocks
Time to lay this vessel down

Wide awake till dawn
I try to make sense of it all
But I can’t…

Recollect the record
As if pictures line the walls
That depict the lowest lows
and the tallest triumphs
The journeyman’s last call
Show them your heart
Stand back up when your knee falls to the ground
You may not get your hand raised in victory, but what does it it matter now

It hurts to find the words
Like a fighter that’s suffered
A broken jaw
I might lay my gloves down
