Nature is our Home
Waking up one morning with the rays of the sun
Breaking through teh clouds of my sleep
And the chirping of teh birds in song
Saying it's another day, what a great new day,
It's another day, a special day.
And suddenly the world all around me
Just seems so beautiful,
Light and dark in harmony,
Creation's masterpice, what a matchless sight
With its breathtaking laws, agift for me.
Every beat of my heart wants to cry out loud:
Treat it tenderly!
Got to stand up for nature's integrity
'cause I am part of it!
Mountains, rivers, seas, - with every beauty,
Every beast;
Nature is my home, it's my own home.
If I could only fly in teh vast blue sky
Peering through an eagle's eye
Spying forms of vivid life,
Creation's masterpice, what a matchless sight
With its breathtaking laws, this splendid earth.
Land and ocean I see linked in cycles of growth,
What a mystery!
Teeming with life is a dance ever new,
What a miracle!
It's all in your care!
Human kind, you're the focal point;
Nature is our home, it's our own home.
Every beat of my heart wants to cry out loud:
Treat it tenderly!
Got to stand up for nature's integrity
'cause I am part of it!
Mountains, rivers, seas, - with every beauty,
Every beast;
Nature is my home, it's my own home. (bis)
