Dream Child
Dream child, head in the clouds
Voice of all sorrows
Dream child, of the long-fingered hands
Places a hand upon shattering thruths
Pierces the evil with needle ray tooth
Dream child, betrayed by birth's miracle
Digs heels down, stands the ground scathed
All hijacking puppeteers blasted away, blasted away
Dream child, floats with the ships of steel
On venomous bloody bays
Of ease, of disease
And his wounds spit poetry
Dream child, beloved singular child
Of a new direction
Alone, experimental journey-bound
Into the territory of the uninvited
The great unknown
Dream child, so benecklaced
Hoists over the clouds, to rainbow's end
Away from the vile hum the hostile world spun
The hostile world spins
The hostile world spun
The hostile world spins
The hostile world spun
The hostile world spins
The hostile world spun
The hostile world spins
The hostile world spun
The hostile world spins
Spins, spins, spins
Spins
