As Far As You Can See (As Much As You Can Feel)
I've searched everywhere and it's been so long
For a place where all goes right instead of wrong
I've been on the road so long if it's there I will know
Everyplace looks the same how much farther should I go
In search of a place to spend my life
If I don't find it at least I've tried
What everyman needs is all that I want
One moment of peace before I'm gone
In search of a place to spend my life
If I don't find it at least I'vе tried
As far as you can see as much as you can feel
There is still a way if you havе the will
Two miles ahead along the riverbed
One man lay dead in his grave
Though young in years he'd shed many tears
His payment for life has been made
We judge both right and wrong
We search for what has gone
We learn when it's too late
We answer love with hate
Tears fall somewhere for him lying there
And somewhere mourning flames burn
Good things are said but always of the dead
So tragic a lesson to learn
