Poem: No Name

Harold Budd

We step aside, and then across the cliff to a different plateau
A different flat, well, a definitely different, different flat plateau, you know
Kinda flat and sandstone that flakes when you hit it with your heels
And, Christ, you're doing a two-step like Jesus on fire

That damned fool is dancing like a Cheyenne across the front of the screen
We ponder
Next time it'll be somebody else, no doubt
