The Truth

Lachlan Brown

Alright here me out for a sec
Hold up
Let me tell you a little something about me
Quitting seems way too unlikely
So if you ever tell me anything or doubt me
It’s like your shit deflects cause of what’s surrounding
Instead of it being negative and derailing
It fucking flips and doubles over as a praising
So everytime I sense judgment or frowning
I’m turning around because it’s funny when you put me down
I hear the true voice underneath your hatred
It’s screaming out your jealousy because you’re scared I’ll make it
You know what
Whenever I sit and stare at people like you
I wonder what ever did god do
When he was piecing together the traits that form you
Did he purposely leave out your fate to fuck you
Or is it you
I think it’s you
Playing the wrong cards just to follow suit
And you chose
Yes you chose
To play a hand that could never fucking benefit you
But for some reason you keep on playing hand after hand
Waiting for shit to change like it’s not you controlling your fate
So as you wait losing touch with the ones you relate
Is only part of the dilemma you will face as love turns to hate
You can deny all the things I’ve seen
All the things I’ve discovered but not for much longer
Cause too many others know what’s happening out there
And no-one has jurisdiction over the truth
Anytime I bring my heart out for show and tell
I wear a bullet proof vest just to hide it well
Cause I know when it’s on my sleeve and out it’s shell
It’s target practice for the damaged who contest for hell
So anytime I protect my mind
I get confused
With all that I’ve aligned
Cause I know I don’t need negativity at all
But still I choose to hide it from what is waiting behind the door
Because I want more
More than what the fuck you could ever offer me
When I’m praying at your front door
Knees down hand together like I’m broke and poor
See now if I needed it I wouldn’t get a fucking thought
Look I know that you’d see me
You’d smile just to greet me
And then you’d send me on my way
But if I seriously had asked you to help me
You’d laugh to repel me and take the truth to your grave
Laughing cause you think I’m hungry for nothing
This passion is just something I use to cover up my truth
But if you seriously had listened to one thing
And I mean out of everything I’ve written
You would see the proof
So if you’re lacking faith
I don’t need you
I’m not here to incorporate all suggestions
So back the fuck up
It’s time to make room
I’m here to educate please pay attention
The truth is out there
I can see it spreading
I’m dedicated to be its voice of ascension
And as I said if you’re only gonna doubt this
Always remember no-one has jurisdiction over the truth
