Sunlight through the branches and smoke at the horizon
Surrounded by colors, green and brown and grey
Brace yourself for your rebirth
Floating in sorrows drowning in life

I look up above and beyond this ancient dome
To reach for the sky I have to go deep
Deep in my soul, deep in my mind
I won’t be afraid of what I will find

Leave behind the pain and pray
For the clouds to be driven away
Black tides of illness now withdraw
I'm a witness to the death of love

Shreds of July on the ground they lie
Deceiving myself has no use
