An Extended Plane of Existence

Here on the plane of existence
There as a matter of fact
Harboring some resistance
If you never even ever come back
Surrounded now by sharp grey thorns
The rose with its pedals a flame
Drawn in near by the scent
No matter the tangle or pain
There's a crack in the rock
Where the rose grows
A crack in the rock that's plain to see
Was it the power of the flower
That gave the rock a knock
Or had the stone always known
How it would be ?
Here on this plane of existence
Here as a matter of fact
Offering no resistance
If we ever
I mean never
Come back
Here on the plane
No matter the pain
