Howl
The drought has ruled too long
And the springs have all but dried
Lifegiver sun, the scorcher
Takes all back again
I’ve been withering away
Emptiness defines me now
As every creature around
In this God-forsaken land
Days went blindingly bright
Already long time ago
Nights once so soothing and calm
Now’re just making me numb
Drought
Siccitas invicta
Feeding with dry stench of death
Cooks slow, relentlessly
Until sooner or later
I will be done
Silence
Silence
Wordless Void
Should the droughts be named?
Or are they all the same?
Do we worship them just because
We’ve lost the memory of the rains?
But the drought remained
Despite of what they said
Only the empty words kept flowing
For a while
