Die for a Meal

John Lochbaum

They’re always try to stand properly in a line.
Hands got shaken while faces... faked smiles.
I never thought, it would be so hard to see
But in such a case you would die for a meal
We draw the burnings curtains before we get lost.
After day 48 we just still believe in trust.
In close distance someone rings the doorbell
While I clean myself like a kitten in hell.
They always try to be one of a kind.
But no one mentioned how there`s nothing left behind.
The sweat is running straight into my eyes.
I stay focused, cause they`re one of a kind.
One of a kind.
We shut our eyes and lay down in dust.
For a moment, we just still believe in trust.
The last meal, my dear, I can even smell.
While I clean myself like a kitten in hell
