Black and white
I know you wish that everything about me was in black and white
The way you like
with a two lane heart and a one track mind
between the lines
I’ve been doing everything I can to keep it in between the lines
must be nice
For you to never have to try

Would you save me or would you leave me on a shelf
Would you take me or would you want somebody else
Would you believe me if I said i was being myself
could you tell

If the wall comes down
and the truth comes out
will you be the place
where my lost gets found
am I finally free
am I safe and sound
or is somebody gonna wanna try and fix me now

Back in time
everything was easy and I didnt have to think about it
over night
I was a problem with an answer only I could find
a simple life
but it’s complicated even when you try and oversimplify
shouldn’t be a fight
but its always been a fight
