I enjoy the streetlights
In the dead of night
When the sun starts to go down
That's when I feel so alive

The sun goes down my eyes open up
The concrete sound electricity hum
There's no one around my heart starts to pump
Boots on the ground in the city I love

Running on sketchy
In the heart of the city
Living in bliss
On a night like this

The sewers gush and I don't feel alone
The summer's night heat warm embrace of Motown
So much history, these streets and me
But she still has the mystique of the secrets that she keeps
