I’m sending my prayers to the Ville,

Me and my homies were just a few miles away in McDonalds just tryna chill,

When we heard about at the field how this dude was clapping the steel,

And accidentally shot a kid who he had just happened to kill,

R.I.P. Dew - rest easy child,

Please look down and watch over us cause these streets is wild,

Shit happening anywhere to anyone at anytime and place,

Any day could be your last if they shove a nine in your face,

I had a homie 3 rows behind him - soon as he heard the heater,

He knew it was getting violent - he ducked down in the bleachers,

Shit was like a scary movie - but he wasn’t in no theatre,

Everybody running - players - the students - and even teachers,

Fast forward and they caught the motherfucker who shot em,

Hope he lays inside a cell until his body gets rotten,

If it were me I’d make him suffer even more than he made em,

They’d need the same police officers to come in and save him,

Whatchu know about walking inside your school with anxiety,

Because now I’m afraid that somebody might pull a nine on me,

Praying for all of my homies - know a few that would die for me,

even praying for all of the muthafuckas who lie to me,

And The Irony - used to never pray in this place,

Now I’m blessing all my friends when I stay in this space,

Now everyday I tell my homies hope they playing it safe,

And if you got an iron - I just hope it stay in the safe,

I should pay more attention to what my mother say,

Should be more grateful treat everyday like it’s Mother’s Day,

Cause one day she gon’ be gone too know it sucks to say,

R.I.P. Dew I just saw his uncle the other day,

His family never gon be the same from that neck leak,

But everybody else was all back to schedule the next week,
