About Time

This is part of a song I wrote about a year ago
I never finished it
It was supposed to be the happy ending to the "Y." EP
Though at the time of making those songs it wasn't done to me
So I would've been lying to myself
But a lot has changed since then
I went to go onto my next school far away from home
Which has been the best decision of my life
I met a lot of great, real friends there
I met someone who actually wants to improve me
And I'm being a better me
I feel like I'm finally living, the way I should be
To my friends, her and everyone; I'm forever grateful
