It must be nice
To really know
That somebody cares
Where you've been and where you go
And when you're coming home

To really feel

With rhythm like a poem

Days and nights walking on your own
No one to warm you
When you're tired and cold down to the bone

It must be nice
But hard to see
When somebody's there in front of you
How could it be so plain and clearly shown?

Days and nights walking on your own
Past every heartbreaker, faker and taker
On ground where nothing's grown

It must be nice
But if it's true
Why so many sad and unfufilled
And lonely too
And rolling like a stone?
