Alright, well it's about time that I came back
I bet you thought I wasn't gonna ever come back didn't you?
You thought I had left you and abandoned you
And abandoned all that we hold true and sacred with real music
And real artistry and expression
And who cares if you don't have the greatest voice in the world
You just do what the hell you do
You thought I left didn't you?
But I didn't
I just got married and had a baby and had a man
And had to nurture my family and do all of that
And reinvent myself
And now that I have done all of that
I'm here and I wrote some songs for you
And I got with some folks
We made some music
And I made it for you
