Look I know exactly wha they telling you/
and I know that the system is failing you/
your hearts grieving cuz these constant depths is alien you/
and its hard to be when nobody seems to care for you/
but... just keep pushing with your head high know you situation temporary/
I'll be path for the land mines so every move you make is legendary/
keep beating the odds till you heart stop/
you'll catch them of guard knock them dead when their guard drop/
and just watch their jaws follow it/that ill that they wish you thats a bitter pill they'll have to swallow it/ because iconic what I strive to be/ so their is no know for fear to come and reside in me/just know his grace and mercy will abound us/ so Ill be ground breaking till the day he breaks the ground up.

in the midst of the darkness I will shine still/ no weapon form will prosper but they try still...yeah/but i won't worry I won't fret at all/ because my faith lies in the one who created all/ they expect me to fall. do the want me to fail?/to get me off track. they pray I derail/ but I kept it pushing heading towards perseverance/ they claim I'm incoherent. they didn't want to hear it/what they don't understand they dismiss and they fear it/ with my bible in hand. can't afford to be weary/ till is will is fulfill. till the mission complete/ I'm declaring victory I aint accepting defeat/ they strike me repeatedly but Im turning the cheek/ I'm holding my tongue and I'm gritting my teeth/ going against the grain just call me unique/yeah i stubble but by his grace I still rise to my feet.
