A symphony of guns through the canyon
Ragged pony men hunting for the head
Of an outlaw from distant sands
Gang of four he led from those lands
North to steal a fortune, now his gang lay dead

Picture palaces, souped up cars, cathedral shopping malls
Best food, clothes and shelter, them folk got the lot
The weary sheriff shouted, 'Game's up
You've had your fun now give it up!'
Turned to his deputy, 'Let's see what he's got'

The outlaw raised his head to the heavens
Unsheathed his Indian knife and stood up for the fight
They left him where he fell in the dust
His bounty, just a meagre crust
Slim pickings for scavengers who care not wrong from right
