just another pull
on the massive fountain of youth
forever chasing the sunset
we round the hills of compromise
to spy the valleys of fortune
but we won't wander this path
because it has been laid by other travelers
before us...
we are the hunters and collectors

we are the trackers of something original
and rare
like the cave of claddin
in the maw of the desert
The Kwisatz Haderach
feet dusted with righteous sand
and the eyes brittle, a religious scope
sun devils feed on the corners
of every crack of hope
and yet we carry on...

and innocent gain
