Caught Out

I’m in deep trouble
I didn’t do me homework last night
I couldn’t care less though
‘Cause I had my hand in her hand

And as the mulch turned to sludge

I want to get caught out

In the silver rain, as stone turns the colour of slate
And the jeans I changed into take on animal patterns and
I’m hoping that the camera will pan
Away from the sanctuary
And up to the embankment where
He’ll be advancing
