Relieve Anxiety
I want to take a few moments to focus on relieving anxiety
This is something that I've struggled with
It can be hard trying to find a balance of being present in the moment and letting go of those anxieties that seem so overwhelming (Relieve anxiety)
Some days your mind is filled with worries about school, work, and family
Other days, you may find just the small things that cause anxiety
Regardless of the source, anxiety can be a big problem for many people
When you meditate on a regular basis, the health benefits continue to increase
Meditation decreases stress hormones like [?] and adrenaline while increasing hormones like dopamine and serotonin
Chemicals that are linked to happiness
Meditation keeps the mind focus on the present moment
Instead of worrying about the future or dwelling on the past, let’s begin by finding a place that's comfortable
Maybe you want to sit in the chair or on the floor, whatever you find most relaxing and enjoyable
And now, let's close our eyes so we help the mind relax
Let’s turn our attention to the breath
Focus on the breath coming in
Sense the cool air (Relieve anxiety)
Now notice you're breathing out
You can feel the air has become warm
Let's take a few moments to just focus on breathing
There's no need to rush
As you breathe in through your nose, and out through your mouth, imagine that each time you breathe out, all the tension in your body is leaving with that breath
Your mind is clear and calm
You feel safe and secure
Breathe naturally and enjoy this feeling of peace and tranquility
Feel yourself at peace, you're safe here
So many life's little things can feel like they're weighing you down
Now imagine that you are sinking in through your bed or couch, feeling yourself getting heavier and heavier with each breath
You can feel the weight of the world being lifted from your shoulders now as you sink deeper into the cushions below you
You feel calmness wash over you as you relax into the state of blissful relaxation
Where there are no worries, no stress, no pain
There is only peace, love and acceptance for who you are, right now, in this moment
Let's begin the process of letting go
Relax your body, relax your mind, and relax your heart
Let go of the things that are weighing you down
Let go of the things that cause you stress
Let go of the things that make you worry
Let go of the things that make you sad
Let go of the things that cause pain
Relax and let it all go so you can feel better and heal more quickly
