Sermon
I′ve made water in the desert
I've made water in the desert put the roof back on a home
Who puts that back
In your crystal palms
From my silver hand
Silver surfer man
And the AC
Courses through the vents
But not a degree shifts
I watch her body twist and bend
She knows it soon
She knows not a miracle comes when the stocks boom
Everyone could pack up and leave in an afternoon
But who didn′t leave
It was me
Who didn't leave
Because I chose you from the second you were born
When the egg met the sperm in the womb of the world
Was it really so surreal
Focused on how it feels
I'll be counting all the things curiosity has killed
I chose you the second I had choice
My cars cut breaks
In the chords of the voice
So hard to believe
I could heal what you need
Everything you expect guaranteed I′ll exceed
When it hits watch his eyes rock back
Put the hope on a leash till the rope finds slack
I want nothing but your love in my hands
Want that heart in my mouth
Hold the future in a grip
And I′ll never let it down
When the world caves in
I'll be there at every turn
Use my body like a bunker
So you′re never getting burned
For you I'd sacrifice it
For you I do anything
Just creep into your wallet
And your grandma′s wedding ring
To know my self
To know to much
I'm built of filth, and corn, and mud
Beloved in life
Alone in death
I spend my riches
While I have my breath
