SEPTEMBER MELODY

Sometimes I can’t see the sky because the clouds are grey and they don’t pass by
Sometimes I can’t see myself ‘cause I’m too busy worrying ‘bout everybody else
Sometimes I am lost and alone, under the impression that all I do is wrong
Sometimes I don’t know what’s going on – can’t even see the road I walk along

Then I sit down and I wait

When my heart’s missing something and I don’t know what it is I just know there must be more
Then I might sing the blues or ask myself for the truth or whatever these words are for
Then again everything is new and I do things I never thought I’d do
I might find peace of mind by looking into the bright blue sky
