I'm terrified by the thoughts in my own dreams
I'm tortured by the sound of indecision
That keeps me company
And strange things
Are happening or so it seems
Poems without a rhythm
And poets devoid of poetry
But it's far from over
Time slows down then drifts away

I'm terrorized by what I haven't seen
I'm lost in a cloud of fiction
That keeps me from clarity

Illusions of forward motion
Confusion with how it used to be
